  Ordering  
 
  When ordering give part number and description. Specify exact application and specific information as to car model; year of manufacture; engine make and size; tansmission type and model, etc. Have your name, street address (including zip), and daytime phone number ready. Our fax order line is open 24 hours. Be sure all information is included - order cannot be processed without phone number.
 
 
  Payment  
 
  Payment by MasterCard, Visa, or certified check ensures fastest processing. C.O.D. orders up to the amount of $250.00 will be accepted (appropriate C.O.D. fees will be charged). C.O.D. orders require payment with either money order or certified check. Prepayment by personal check may hold up processing order. All payments must be made in U.S. funds.
 
 
  Deposits  
 
  Minimum deposit of 50% required on all frame and chassis orders. Full payment is required on all special ordered parts and on all special labor or custom fabrication orders.
 
 
  Shipping  
 
  Orders are shipped by the most economical way, either UPS or by truck line. Customer is responsible for all freight charges.
 
 
  Refused Shipments  
 
  Customers will be charged a minimum 15% handling charge plus freight on refused orders. Reorders and future orders may require prepayment in full.
 
 
  Back Orders  
 
  Any item not in stock when order is shipped will be placed on back order. All back orders will be noted on customer packing slip and invoice. Back ordered parts will be shipped immediately when available. If delay in shipping is expected to be more than a few weeks you will be notified.
 
 
  Sales Tax  
 
  California residents must pay appropriate sales tax. This includes out of state customers that will-call parts at our location. California companies buying parts for resale must have a signed resale card on file in our office.
 
 
  Returns  
 
  A return request must be made through the Sales department before any return will be authorized. A Return Authorization number will be given. This number must be on the outside of the returning package and must be included on all correspondence. It is probably a good idea to put the number on the outside of the package in several places so that it does not get worn off in shipping on its way back to us. Without this number your return cannot be processed. All returned parts must be new, undamaged, and in resellable condition. Parts that have been used, damaged, or modified will not be accepted. All authorized returns must be received by Total Cost Involved within 30 days of the original invoice date and all new returns are subject to a 15% handling charge.
 
 
  Damage  
 
  Claims for damaged or lost merchandise must be made directly with the freight carrier (UPS or truck). Merchandise that is shipped via UPS and received damaged must be kept in original carton for their inspection. If you need help making a claim to a freight carrier please call our shipping department for assistance.
 
 
  Pricing  
 
  Total Cost Involved holds the line on price as much and for as long as possible. However, sometimes prices must be adjusted, up or down, and we reserve the right to change prices without notice.
 
 
  Liability  
 
  Total Cost Involved Engineering will not be liable for personal or property damage cuased by the use or misuse of any product we manufacture or sell. We will repair or replace any product found to be defective subject to our inspection. Product must be returned freight prepaid for inspection.
 
 
  Accuracy  
 
  Absolutely every effort has been made to provide accurate and up-to-date information on this website. However, since the website is being maintained by human beings there are going to be occasional mistakes. If you're not going to cut us any slack when we make a mistake then we are going to have to include the ever-hateful clause that says, "All information on this website is subject to verification and change without notice." This is not a policy that is intended to free us of any responsibility but to ensure that less scrupulous people don't abuse the occasional mistakes that will be made. If you notice the tiniest mistake or error, please let us know so that we can correct it as soon as possible. The old website was harder to update than this new one.
